Goonies, The

Slow moving platformer; "run" and jump through creepy stages, with ineffectual weapons at the ready.

One of the few "Vs." games to not get a NES release; based on the movie. Your character is a child, who uses childish weapons, in a quest through dungeons, pirate ships, and the like. The game is frustratingly slow-paced, and fairly difficult for an arcade game seemingly aimed at kids.

A sequel, Goonies II, was released for the NES.
