Assault Plus (アサルトプラス)

Tank game played from overhead. Sequel to "Assault".

A 2D top-view version of Battlezone. Featured some nice scaling/rotating hardware for the time, dubbed "growth motion object hardware" by Namco/Atari. The game was designed and engineered by Namco, and distributed in the US by Atari. Assault Plus was released the same year as Assault, and was distributed only in Japan. Players select one of two sets of levels to play. This game also support two player mode (alternating), and cocktail cabinet play.
