Williams repair kit testimonials

OK. So I couldn't wait to try one of these kits out. I picked a known faulty board that was a bit skaggy to start with and already hacked by someone else. Also, I've not done this before so I figured risking a kit on a rough board was sensible.

Everything went on fine. Followed the instructions, put it all back together, checked it all over, powered up and WOW, it worked first time! If they all go that smoothly I'll be well chuffed!!

Just installed the kit and reflowed solder onto the Molex connectors.

Actually if you're interrested it's kinda a funny story. I found the game in fair physical condition but not working at an antique shop in Fayetteville, GA for $25! I had planned on gutting it and making it into a MAME console...but now I've realized that I don't have the heart to break it. So I'm stuck restoring her. :-)
