by username. Comment: "Magical Drop 2, by Data East, is an excellent puzzler released in 1996 featuring the standard three or more piece combo structure. The screen moves from top to bottom bringing down rows of four different colors of jewels that you the player must pull and throw back making sets of three or more in color sequence clearing the screen and moving to consistant flow back. In two player mode, your combos create a stronger beat down of jewels that your opponent must battle off. You are one of seven characters controling a smal jester figure while your character is shown in the backdrop of the screen changing facial features and squirming around depending on if your winning or loosing. Excelent puzzler. My favorite period let alone on the neo geo consoles. I definatly recomend giving this game some play.
