Rave Racer (レイブレーサー)

by doug2112. Comment: "Rave Racer is the sequel to Ridge Racer 1 & 2. For those of you who noticed, Ridge Racer 1 & 2 are exactly the same game...only 2 has slightly better graphics, a rear-view mirror, and (if you played the deluxe cabinet) they disabled the clutch. It's there, you can test it, but it makes no difference. Anyway Rave Racer is the 1995 version. It has the original 2 tracks plus a City and a Mountain track. Better graphics...but the handling of the car has changed. If you've been down-shifting on the corners to slow down, that no longer works. Brake & then downshift. Not a bad game....the first 2 have more realistic car reactions, but Rave Racer is prettier!" (2004-06-10 11:12:00Z)
